Summer Impressions from Far Off Lands

My dear friends, a quick hello and update. Yes, I've been away again – a somewhat spur of the moment and simply marvelous trip but one rather unexpectedly without internet, hence the silence here and lack of email and visits from me.

My adventures of the last ten days are far too numerous for one blog post. In fact, they span such a spectrum of activity and emotion, if they were in a novel they would be considered unbelievable.

To start, here are a few new images captured in a legendary garden a week ago today, with many more to follow.

I hope you have been very well. Thank you for your patience while I get caught up – I've now read all your recent comments and look forward to being in touch with each of you. To new followers, lovely to have you here and to get to know you.

A bientôt!

xoxo – g

  32. Hello there my dear friend. It looks to me as though you made your way to Giverny!!! How perfect. My little piece of heaven. No wonder Monet lived so long as he spent his years here. I .
felt as if I was floating in one of his beautiful paintings.
Did you cycle? I loved this too - gliding through the country side like a true french girl.
Still enjoying France - here in Saint Remy. You would love it. So much to photograph- cant wait to hear of your travels. x

  33. I do believe I too have been to that garden, is it Giverny? It was a dream of mine to visit and got to go a few years ago! The house is so beautiful and the water lilies and bridge, just like stepping into one Monet's paintings! Can't wait for more. Catherine x
