Paris: Tea at Ladurée

We did indeed have tea at Ladurée, Champs Elysées in Paris. And I took these photos to share with you.
And the chandeliers at Ladurée on Rue Royale.

I'm dedicating this post to three dear Canadian friends, Judith, Jen and Valerie, who regularly gather for tea and who would most enjoy a magical afternoon spent at Ladurée. In fact, I believe we should all meet up there, what do you think?

Thank you kindly for your lovely comments on the macaron post. I know these recent posts are a bit fun and frivolous, but everyone needs a bit of that, don't they? Sooo much happening here and so much more to share. Calendars nearly all done, new projects and a surprise! Coming up Thursday.

love,
– g

  4. Yes my dear they do -- i love your post today. We went to Laduree twice in Champs Elyseè. It was perfect both times.
I pasted Rue Boneparte almost every day - it was in our neighbourhood.
Hope everything is wonderful with you.

  18. Oh Georgianna: I would just love to have tea in that lovely place. I would have to practise for a long time to behave myself and not spill my coffee all over my self. It seems so tre chic not country bumpkin. I am so happy to be able to enjoy your travels with you vicariously and of course the photography is out of this world. :) X Valerie

Your photographs of Laduree are amazing and yes, indeed a luxury brand.
We had lunch there and I think it was my most memorable meal I had, while in France.

  25. Such beautiful photos! When my husband and I were in London two years ago we went to the Laduree café at Harrods and I LOVED it! Everything was so beautiful and the pastries tasted delicious. Next to us were a young Asian couple, and the girl had just bought a white Dior coat... That's as close to that luxury brand as I'll ever come :)
    Take care! xo Moa
