ReplyDeleteI am going to enjoy reading your newsletter. Today, DH and I walked for @ an hour this morning, came home and had coffee then laid around the pool for a couple of hours. Gosh, I love retired life and spending a month in Florida.
Oh yes, there's a hot tub that is nice and hot for sore muscles - all the comforts of home. :-)

It snowed here in England last night--quite magical, since I was staying out in the countryside at a manor house with 4 girlfriends for the weekend! I'll enjoy February and its beauty, but it will be exciting for spring to visit us soon.
ReplyDeleteWhen I opened up your blog this afternoon, did you hear me sigh. Everything looks so lovely Georgianna. Is it any wonder that Romantic Home Magazine's editor is a friend of yours? I just signed up for your newsletter and I'll be following the links. I believe our typical snowy winters here in New England have gone to Europe. It has been one of the mildest winter's on record here. I do miss the snow, but not when it is causing havoc.

ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. I have yellow forsythia but I have never seen white one, maybe they are not so common in Finland as yellow ones. Is there little peak of pink forsythia in left corner too!?

I think this may be one of the first Februarys that I have ever considered calling dear... :) We have snowdrops nearly a month early here, and a volunteer pansy is actually blooming in one of the pots on our deck... Your image is glorious (as we have all come to expect) and your gentle words are encouraging! xoxo
