Dogwood Redux

A quick hello between shoots. Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments about the photos of our pink dogwood. I realized in reading them that quite a few of you are not familiar with dogwoods and that my arty close ups do not do full justice to these truly magnificent trees. So, yesterday I did a quick tour of our neighborhood for a few shots of some that are more mature than our little sprout of a tree. They really are this staggeringly beautiful. I'm continually veering off the road when I drive here in spring. Enjoy!

  3. Hi Georgianna,
Those dogwoods are so beautiful! We don't have the pink ones here=not quite hardy enough for our winters. I do have a couple of white ones though.

  6. J'adore! When I look at these photos I am reminded of a very good smelling bubble bath. Don't know why.

But it's kind of poetic, don't you think?

  8. Dear Georgianna, The trees are wonderful puffy clouds and your photographs are very special. But there is something about looking right into the open face of the pink dogwood, those of your last post, that makes my heart sing.

  11. Georgianna,
I am coming to Oregon in July. I wonder if you ever get to Portland. Maybe we could meet there for a day? Or at Cannon Beach? Or somewhere?
